The Beginning

Central Poultry Industries was founded in 1972 by Percy Holder in Seven Hills, NSW. Starting as a small operation focused on manufacturing quality poultry curtains, Percy established the foundation of what would become one of Australia's longest-running poultry equipment suppliers.

In the early days, Colin handled installations while Percy focused on manufacturing. The company quickly gained a reputation for producing high-quality, Australian-made poultry curtains that were built to last in the harsh Australian climate.

Building the Foundation

As Percy transitioned into retirement, Colin and Peter naturally stepped up to continue the family tradition. During this period, Ian joined the company as an installer, learning the business from the ground up and gaining invaluable hands-on experience.

The company's focus remained primarily on curtains and installation services, but the groundwork was being laid for future growth. The extensive experience gained through countless installations across Australia provided deep insights into the evolving needs of poultry farmers.

Continuing the Legacy

When Colin chose to retire, Ian naturally stepped into the leadership role, bringing his years of field experience and deep understanding of the industry. This generational transition allowed Central Poultry Industries to expand its product range while preserving the family's commitment to quality Australian manufacturing.

The company grew beyond curtains to include winching systems and other equipment, always maintaining the exacting standards that had built the business's reputation over decades.

2025 - Complete Solutions Provider

Today, Central Poultry Industries celebrates 53 years of continuous operation, making us one of the longest-running poultry equipment suppliers in Australia. We've evolved from a curtain manufacturer to a complete solutions provider offering:
